What Most People Do Not Realize
There are no income requirements to be on the program.
However, we do ask for a donation of $2.50 per meal. Please
understand this is only a donation and we are happy to accept
whatever contribution a client or family member is able to afford.
Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated. If contributing
causes hardship, we will gladly provide meals at no cost.
Eligibility: for HOME DELIVERED MEALS
1) Applicant shall reside in our service area (the following zip
codes: 48340, 48341, 48342, 48343 and 48320).
2) Applicant must be 60 years or better.
3) Applicant must be physically or medically homebound.
Ensure/Liquid Meals
Pontiac Meals on Wheels does offer Liquid Meals. A doctor's
prescription is required. For more information on requirements
and cost, contact Pontiac Meals on Wheels at 248-738-9393.
Eligibility: for CONGREGATE MEAL PROGRAM
Those seniors that are active outside the home and wish to be
a part of the congregate meal program are welcome! Join other
local seniors for food and friendship Monday through Friday if
you are 60 years or older! For more information, click here.
